Royal Alcazar, Seville, Spain (3)






160 Meter long Grotto Gallery and its ornated
 walls built around 12th century by Almohads
Early 17th century walls converted into gallery overlooking to the pond
originally used as small reservoir received its water from the Roman Aqueduct. 
in 1575 lost its function and turned into decorative use.

Old fortress town for Moors. It is located Valencia district, portion of the citadel walls are still there. There are three ancient parish churches; San Nicolas, the oldest, dates from the 13th century.Highly recommended: Try home made  Chorizos  y Jamon at family run butcher shop located at inside the historical district. Region is also known for the Virtuous wine.
